This prawn biryani is exactly like chicken biryani, the difference -its a one pot dish and spicier. I have used my electric rice cooker, you can use any vessel .I find rice cooker very convenient.

  2. How long should the Basmati rice be soaked? Also, should we soak, if using a electric cooker? nice recipe. By the way, can add some instant biriyani mix to enhance the taste? Thanks for sharing.

i,ve got a question to ask.. i use elctric rice cooker n' you say that you prepare your biryanis in you electric cooker.i would like to know if you fry all the other igredients seperately in a kadai or pan and then add them into the cooker....or do you or can you fry the ingreds in the electgric cooker itself
