Nutella Pull Apart Roll


I would never miss an opportunity to bake anything that has Nutella in it......just heavenly.

Ingredients
  • 200 grams Flour (maida)
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm Milk
  • 2 tsp Dry active yeast
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Butter, softened
  • Extra butter for brushing
  • 4 tbsp Nutella
Method
  1. In a bowl mix together yeast, sugar and lukewarm milk and set aside for 5 to 10 minutes till it becomes frothy.
  2. Take flour/maida in a big bowl, add the yeast/sugar/milk mixture and mix together add little more milk if required to bring the flour together (I used 3 tbsp milk).While kneading the dough add the salt and butter and knead into a smooth soft dough.
  3. Make a ball with the dough and place in a greased bowl and cover with cling film or a kitchen towel, place in a warm place and let the dough double in size for 1 hour.
  4. Once the dough has doubled, punch it down and knead for a minute.
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface,1/4 inch thickness and roughly 14 inches lengthwise.Spread nutella on the rolled out dough. Roll the dough little firmly into a 14 inch log.
  6. Cut the log into 7 equal parts and place on a greased 8 inch round cake tin cut side up. Cover the rolls with clingfilm and place in a warm place and let it double its size for 1 hour.
  7. Pre heat oven at 200 degree C, lightly brush milk on top of the rolls and bake for 20 minutes or till the top is slightly brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and brush the rolls with little melted butter.

Nutella ,Banana & Walnut Roll


Soft bread.......rich creamy buttery Nutella......... crunchy walnuts...........Banana........this is one combination that can never go wrong........unless you have the audacity to hate Nutella......which is a crime....



Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Flour (maida)
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 3/4 tbsp yeast (1/2 tbsp if using instant yeast)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp + 1 tsp oil
  • 4 tbsp or more Nutella
  • 2 tbsp Butter , softened
  • 2 Bananas, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts , toasted and roughly chopped
Method
  1. Prepare nutella spread :-In a small bowl mix nutella and butter and mix well, keep aside.
  2. Prepare dough :- In a small bowl pour in 1/4 cup lukewarm milk, sugar and yeast, mix till yeast dissolves. Keep this aside for few minutes till the mixture looks frothy.
  3.  Now in a large bowl mix flour, salt, yeast mixture and remaining milk and form a sticky dough. Oil your fingertips and knead the dough until it springs back when you press with your fingers, 6 to 7 minutes.Cover the bowl with cling wrap and allow it to double (keep in a warm area). This will take 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Once the dough doubles, punch the dough to remove the air and knead again for few minutes.
  5. Prepare a baking dish, grease with oil and keep aside. 
  6.  Divide the dough into 2 equal parts.Place one portion dough on a flat surface. Use little flour if the dough is very sticky.Roll the dough into a rectangle with 1/2" thickness.
  7. Spread evenly 1/2 of the nutella mixture on the rolled out dough.Place half of the sliced bananas and half of the chopped walnuts on the nutella spread.Roll from one end.Cut the roll into halves.
  8. Then cut each half into halves to get 4 rolls.Repeat the same with the other portion of dough.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased dish with cut side up and brush the top with milk.
  10. Allow the rolls to rise for about 20 minutes.
  11. Place in a preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 degree C,or till the top looks golden brown.
  12. Serve warm

Nutella filled Chocolate Cupcake with Nutella Frosting - My first Guest Post


Have you ever felt weak at your knees....it happens when.....you experience something amazing........when you get a glimpse of someone you have been waiting to see for a long time......when you are kissed like you have never been kissed before.......oh ya it also happens when you are shit scared.......But...in my case......my knees did go weak when I had a bite of this crazzzy crazzzyyyy yumilicious  Nutella cupcake......I seriously got turned on....like seriously....or should I say in my sister Neetu's words 'My mouth had an organism' - -read it any way you want to.....If you get it- GOOD......if you don't EVEN BETTER.

I think I better give this post an 'A' rating
